The Chilkoot High Adventure Basecamp property is situated on the Chilkat Peninsula
Just 4 miles outside the picturesque town of Haines, Alaska. The basecamp offers spacious parade grounds and a state-of-the-art facilities among forested glades of Sitka Spruce. It is an ideal base to launch into any of your exciting high adventure expeditions.
Chilkoot High Adventure Base features a bathhouse, communal dining cabin, and covered pavilion!
The bath house contains 7 showers, separate areas for boys and girls, a staff area.Troops utilize the community cabin primarily for dining, but it’s also a great spot for meetings and games. The grass covered parade grounds offer plenty of comfortable camping spots in a central location. The pavilion is one of our favorite meeting areas and with a covered fire ring it offers a comfortable evening hang out spot.
Space is limited to 40 scouts at a time, so call to reserve space for your troop for this upcoming summer!
