Purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended for all Chilkoot High Adventure Base programs.
Comprehensive travel insurance can help cover costs related to:
Flight cancellations or delays
Personal or medical emergencies
Rescue and evacuation
Trip cancellation or interruption
Theft or lost baggage
Please note: Individual scouts are responsible for any costs incurred if they leave a trip early for any reason.
RECOMMENDED PLAN
We recommend the Adventure Travel Protection Plan from AIG Travel Guard. This plan is one of the few that includes coverage for climbing and hiking at altitude.
For maximum coverage, we strongly encourage purchasing the plan within 15 days of making your trip deposit to access early-purchase benefits.
