Association for Experiential Education
IWLS programs are accredited by the Association for Experiential Education (AEE). AEE accreditation is widely recognized to be the definitive standard in the field of outdoor education. IWLS meets the rigorous standards for excellence in program governance, field operations and safety required for AEE accreditation.
American Canoe Association
Many of our sea kayaking courses incorporate ACA technical training. Cerification is available for these ACA courses.
Wilderness Medical Society
Our Wilderness First Responder courses are taught according to the guidelines of the Wilderness Medical Society.
